Acoustic Barriers in Acrylic and Toughened Glass
Acoustic barriers in acrylic and toughened glass are mainly used to reflect sound in areas where obstructing the line of sight of drivers or view of local residents should be avoided.

Barriers can be supplied in modular sections combining absorptive Quietstone and reflective acrylic or glass sections. These options fill a gap in the market. Giving the high aesthetic benefits of glass with the long life span and sound absorption qualities of Quietstone at affordable prices.

Timber sound absorbing barriers
Timber sound-absorbent barriers are Highways Agency approved and conform to the latest Tec Memo HA 65/94 (Part 1) and HA 66/95 (Part 2), as well as BS EN 1793 and BS EN 1794.
They are further backed up with independent design Checks and PII.
Sound Attenuation is Rw 35dB, with an absorption coefficient of 0.8 starting as low as 200Hz.
Timber sound reflecting barriers
Timber sound-reflective barriers are Highways Agency approved and conform to the latest Tec Memo HA 65/94 (Part 1) and HA 66/95 (Part 2), as well as BS EN 1793 and BS EN 1794.
They are further backed up with independent design checks and PII.
Sound attenuation for the systems is from Rw 29 to 35dB.
