Tecflow UW

A blend of water soluble polymers supplied as a fine powder ready for direct addition to the mixer. The polymers present in Tecflow UW dissolve to form a light gel which protects the cement particles from being washed out. The gel does not interfere with the normal cement hydration processes. The addition of Tecflow UW will give concrete high cohesion reducing cement and fines washout when placing underwater, allowing the concrete to virtually self-compact. Concrete may be placed underwater using standard methods. Uses include maintenance of concrete mix design when placing underwater and obtaining of concrete design strength. Tremie placement assists self- compaction.
