Cementation Skanska s auger displacement Piling (ADP) system is a quick, quiet and virtually vibration free alternative to driven type piles for lighter loads in urban situations. The ADP system generates minimal spoil, reducing costs of disposal, an important consideration for brownfield sites.
This system is ideally suited to founding in loose to medium dense granular soils.
Displacement piles specifically for use in cohesive strata
Cementation Skanska s screw pile system is one of several bored displacement techniques developed by the company over the last 15 years.
The tool is screwed into the ground to the required depth, or rig refusal. The tool is then unscrewed while concrete is pumped from the base of the tool.
Key to this process is the use of onboard instrumentation to monitor the installation process. This ensures that the process is consistent and that the correct 'ribbed' shaft profile is achieved.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Cementation Skanska is consulted before specifying.
