Tecfast Rail

A purpose-designed high early strength gain concrete for rail sleeper pads, both above ground and underground. The material is a cement-based non-shrink concrete suitable for placing in thick sections where critical working time and initial strength gain is required. It is mixed on site with a drill and paddle and requires only the addition of measured mixing water. It hardens in approximately 20 minutes and the compressive strength will reach 22N/mm at two hours. The mixed concrete can be placed in section thicknesses of up to 650 mm in a single pour. Uses include construction of rail sleeper support pads, high strength support sections for steel and concrete super-structures.
