Gun-injected mortar specially formulated for clean, easy, void-free and weatherproof repointing.
PAREX Standard is Portland cement based mortar designed to provide a non-shrink, water-resistant gun-injected mortar, suitable for all pointing and repointing applications involving sound brickwork or masonry.
It gives a highly durable finish offering high levels of resistance in exposed situations, including areas subject to wind driven rain and sea spay or high level buildings in harsh climates.
Gun injection allows the mortar to be placed easily right into the joint and helps to achieve high outputs using only semi-skilled labour.
The resilience of Parex Mortar has been proven over many years use in a broad variety of locations, from coastal structures to city centres. A sulphate-resistant version is also available for areas subject to heavier than normal levels of pollution.
The mortar is available in ten standard colours carefully chosen to complement the natural stone and brick tones predominating throughout the UK.
