RTU has been supplying mortar to the Northern Ireland construction industry for over 20 years, introducing the concept of tubbed mortar in 1993. This factory produced, ready to use mortar was the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. It is still part of the product portfolio today and RTU is still the largest manufacturer of tubbed mortar in Northern Ireland. RTU also offers a wide variety of coloured mortar with currently over 40 Shades available to meet the ever-increasing assortment of brick and block designs available on the market.

In the past two decades the vast majority of building work in the Belfast / Greater Belfast area has been built using factory produced mortar. RTU mortar has been tried and tested and is a market leader in the industry.
