Security Doorsets
Fitzpatrick Securicel high security Steel doorsets offer a range of protection and performance characteristics. Fire escape options are available if required and special designs can be manufactured to meet individual requirements.
Security doorsets must offer resistance to threats from petty burglars using small tools up to attempted forced entry with high powered machinery. Fitzpatrick Securicel doorsets are available in four distinct levels of security protection:
Fitzpatrick Level 1
Resistance to attack with small tools, screwdriver, small lever or wrench, pliers, spanners, etc or bodily force. These are usually relatively noiseless attempts to gain entry by opportunists.
Fitzpatrick Level 2
Resistance to attack with heavier hand tools, pipe wrench, claw hammer or hand drill where the burglar is more determined and is not afraid of creating some noise.
Fitzpatrick Level 3
Resistance to attack with more substantial and heavier tools such as a crowbar, a small cordless power drill, an axe or blowtorch. At this level the threat is a determined criminal who is not too concerned about the noise they make in their attempt to gain entry.
Fitzpatrick Level 4
At this level the threat is a determined professional who uses such tools such as heavy sledgehammers, power drilling, cutting and grinding equipment.
Note
The above levels of performance are based on in-house testing. Levels 3 and 4 have a reinforced leaf design to meet the perceived level of attack. For security reasons full details will not be published.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fitzpatrick Doors is consulted before specifying.
