Further Fire Protection Components

by Dictator Engineering

In case of fire the great heat may cause fire protection doors to distort so that a dangerous gap can form between door leaf and frame.

The temperature bolts of the HLS series from DICTATOR prevent this. They are suited for hinged fire protection door models T 30 and T 60.

Normally the bolt is retracted in the casing and safely locked there by the soldered strut. Only when the surrounding temperature rises to about 600 °C and the HLS-catch temperature bolt has reached about 65 °C the soldered strut will melt. Then the bolt is pushed out by the integrated spring. The door leaf is securely fixed in the frame and can't distort.

Important: The HLS-catch temperature bolts may only be installed in accordance with the respective door manufacturer.
