Gripdeck Flexcoat - Solvent free polyurethane crack bridging membrane

Gripdeck Flexcoat is a two-part, solvent free polyurethane membrane formulated for application by squeegee, roller or brush to concrete and screed substrates primed with Gripdeck Primecoat E prior to overcoating with Gripdeck Primecoat (Bodycoat) followed by Gripdeck Wearcoat/ Gripdeck Wearcoat Plus/ Gripdeck Wearcoat TG.

Usage
The uniquely formulated properties of this tough membrane enable it to bridge new cracks opening up to 0.5mm without rupture, retaining the integrity of the coating and therefore preventing the ingress of water.

Materials Supplied
15kg pack size comprising resin base and hardener components

Storage
Store under dry warehouse conditions at a temperature between 10°C and 30°C.

Shelf Life
6 months in an unopened undamaged, sealed containers and stored under good conditions.

Coverage
The coverage obtained will vary depending on the texture of the surface to which the Gripdeck Flexcoat is applied. As a guide, the coverage should be 1.0kg/m² when applied to a smooth primed surface.
Existing construction joints and cracks should be overbanded with a 100mm wide ‘stripe coat’ of Gripdeck Flexcoat applied onto Gripdeck Primecoat E prior to general coating of the deck as these areas may be prone to greater movement.
