Top Swing Windows

Top Swings and Saddle Pivot Windows, are traditionally aimed at refurbishment projects where there is a high rise element, and a requirement for cleaning to be carried out safely from the inside of the building. Top swing and Saddle Pivot windows offer similar features, notably the fact that they open inwards, which is very distinct from traditional Casement Windows, and have found favour with many architects and clients who have projects for which an open out window is not suitable.
Top swing windows have historically always had deep frame sightlines, which subsequently affects the solar gain (i.e more frame equals less solar gain). Every millimetre in frame sightline reduction will assist in achieving better WER’s. Through careful and considered design, our technical team have reduced frame sightlines, without affecting the structural integrity of the product.
