Tamped Concrete is a none slip really course finish, suitable for maximum grip for traffic, this is a cost effective concrete laying solution generally used in steep hard to traffic areas.
A tamped finish is produced by raising and lowering a beam to compact the surface of the concrete creating a rough surface. Minimum depths are dependant on the design and use of the slab, typically 200mm.
The concrete can take foot traffic after 24 hours. We only recommend Mesh or bar reinforcement as Steel fibres are not for external installations.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that CBS Concreting is consulted before specifying.
