Canopies - Canopy Structures

Glazed canopies can make an attractive focal point for your building’s main entrance. Usually placed outside Entrance Doors to keep the weather away and providing a covered waiting area for the residents or your clients.  Glazed canopies allow natural light through to the entrance area.

We can offer structural glazed and frameless glazed tie rod canopies as well as fully bespoke systems to fit perfectly within your application. Clear toughened/laminated Glass canopies are the most popular choice however other glass options are also available.

Canopies can either be designed to be face fixed to an existing wall or fitted back to sunken Pad Foundations incorporating holding down bolts, with either option we have standard fixing details to match our standard canopy designs. On other occasions we have produced bespoke fixing details where the fixing point is needed to be picked up through an external cladding detail or masonry leaf back to a main structural Steel.
