BREEDON Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA)

BREEDON Warm Mix Asphalts (WMA) is a range of products specifically produced at lower temperatures than traditionally manufactured hot mix asphalt.
Traditional Hot Mix Asphalt production temperatures range between 150 – 200 deg C (bitumen grade dependent). BREEDON Warm Mix Asphalt utilises special additives to all the materials to be produced and supplied at at lower temperatures than traditional 'Hot Mix Asphalts' by around 30-40 deg C
BREEDON Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) are supplied in accordance with Specification for Highway Works CL908 WMA.
The reduced temperature in manufacture decreases both Hydrocarbon use and emissions, without compromising durability when compared with hot mix asphalt.
