The AMS Athena integrated panel adapter system offers unique patented architectural design features with a 46mm panel and window adapter which is designed for incorporation into the range of Kingspan architectural wall cladding systems.
Introduction
The Athena system is available to suite with Kingspan, 45mm, 60mm, 70mm and 80mm cladding panels where Windows have to be incorporated into proprietary insulated panel systems.
Scope
This specification defines materials, fabrication, paint finishes, and size limitations for the Athena Integrated Panel Adapter System.
Materials
Aluminium profiles are extruded from aluminium alloy 6063 T5 and T6 complying with BS1474 – BS EN 12020-2:2001 / BS EN 755-9:2001.
Paint Finishes
Polyester Powder Coatings
Aluminium profiles are Single colour polyester powder coated to BS6496.
AMS offers in house painting with the following paint suppliers :
• Azko Nobel Interpon D
• Du Pont Alesta
• Beckers Powder
Decoral
Aluminium profiles can be polyester powder coated with a woodgrain effect paint finish to BS6496.
Anodised
Aluminium profiles can be anodised to BS1615 or BS3987
