IV-UNI Aluminium Clad Windows

Using the most advanced production techniques, the windows are manufactured using laminated and finger jointed sections of carefully chosen Timber.

This eliminates knots and other imperfections, reduces wastage and increases the rigidity and quality of timber, providing a high quality finish to the product. All timber is preservative treated before assembly.

Finish

In addition to our standard colour range, our IVUNI window range is available in any RAL colour. We can offer a choice of combinations of different paint colours of the interior and exterior surfaces and also provide paint and stain combinations. Mixed stain colours are not possible.

The external Aluminium cladding has a polyester powder coating (minimum 60 micron thickness) in standard RAL colours, excluding metallics. Standard Gloss is 30%, with optional 77% gloss available upon request.

Performance

Tested independently and have reached and exceeded the requirements for:

BS 6375-Pt 1:2009 Performance of windows and doors - weather tightness.
BS 6375-Pt 2:2009 Performance of windows and doors - operation and strength.
BS 7950:1997 Specification for enhanced security performance of windows for domestic applications.
Thermal u-values of 1.4Wm2K-0.8Wm2K are available.
Sound Reduction: Windows are available with sound reduction of typically 32 Rw db up to 41 Rw db, others also available.
Security

The range of ironmongery you choose (handles, locks etc) will determine the level of security you require, which of course our team will work with you to specify correctly. When fitted with the requisite ironmongery, the IV-UNI have been independently tested to BS 7950:1997 Specification for enhanced security performance. As you would expect, we also hold a Secured by Design license.
