The Zefyr Vogue Precision Formed louvre systems are designed to provide the maximum capacity air inlet with minimum louvre face area on the building. The Vogue Louvres are an operable louvre system, which are vertically stacked in a frame and designed not to protrude when fully open.
Applications
The Zefyr VPF louvre systems are made up of horizontal operable blades that are in boxes, which makes them suitable for applications where control of the airflow is required. The louvre system was designed to not to protrude from its framework. In the fully open position the louvre blades are contained completely within the framework and when closed they have minimum air gaps preventing heat loss and draughts. The main purpose of this louvre system is to allow the maximum air inlet for the minimum amount of louvre required - free inlet areas can be up to 75%.
Aesthetics
These louvres can be installed as single units or banked either vertically or horizontally into cladding or brickwork. This specific design can be a desirable application for a louvre system as it is not very obvious when looking at building from the side that louvres are installed but still visually pleasing when viewed head on. With a wide range of finish and colour options available, the customer has the freedom and flexibility with the appearance of the system so it can be consistent with the rest of the building.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Zefyr Group is consulted before specifying.
