UZIN RR 185 damp proof underlay

Flexible, fibre-glass underlay laid loose on the subfloor as a stabilising, isolating and moisture impervious interlayer for bonding new textile, PCV, cushioned vinyl floor coverings and linoleum** in interior locations. Physically separates the covering from the substrate. For use as an exterior waterproofing membrane* only in conjunction with the UZIN BalkoRapid System.
Product Properties /Benefits:
Flexible, stabilising and isolating underlay sheet with crossshaped latex-foam studs on the underside. The studs provide an air-layer of approx. 1 mm thickness between the stabilising underlay and the substrate – the underlay serves as the surface for the new, bonded covering. It has an inherent, stabilising stiffness for good load distribution and high dimensional stability, even under relatively heavy pointloading. Old floor coverings that contain asbestos can be left intact, avoiding the need for extensive and cost-intensive renovation work. Impervious and water-resistant, therefore suitable for normal cleaning methods used on the surface covering.
