Truthville Unfading Red Slate is a very unusual and rare Stone. It is quarried in Vermont in the USA and has superior aesthetic properties and performance, of a unique red colour and rich texture combined with exceptional longevity. The slate can either be used for the whole of a roof elevation or, as in many instances, as a feature band or panel within the roof.
The rich red colour in this unfading slate can be often be marked with flashes of Charcoal Grey or even Green. It has a relatively even cleft, is exceptionally strong and dense, with a low absorption rate, and is resistant to freeze-thaw cycles.
The slate is tested to ASTM Grade A
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that UK Slate is consulted before specifying.
