The Stoneleaf Classic is a natural roof slate with a smooth, textured surface, blue grey in colour and very regular in thickness.
At approximately 6mm thick the Classic has the traditional look of natural slate, whilst being easy to lay due to the excellent selection process at the point of production.
The rigourous process to achieve approval for use in the Snowdonia National Park looks at whether the slate is a suitable alternative to the indigenous Welsh slate.
The Stoneleaf Classic is deemed hardy enough to withstand harsh environments like Snowdonia National Park and offers a robust alternative with the equivalent colour, texture and weathering characteristics to the Ffestiniog Blue Grey Welsh slate.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Stoneleaf Building Materials is consulted before specifying.
