Georgian is the name given to the style current between 1720 and 1840.
At the time Conservatories would have been built in brick or possibly Stone with a limited amount of Glass, due its cost. This meant that often the glazed area of the conservatory would be less than the solid area. Modern techniques and the availability of high quality reasonably priced glass has meant that the glazed area is now larger.
Georgian conservatories are quite similar in style to the Victorian, and also feature an apexed roof. However the main difference is that Edwardian conservatories are square or rectangular on plan, so they have a flat front.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Thermoshield Windows is consulted before specifying.
