Made from carefully selected Engineered Siberian Larch timber, giving it excellent durability and stability, so you can rest assured that your wooden conservatory will keep its good looks. All our timber is sourced from sustainable forests and is FSC certified.
Timber naturally retains heat, and we have paired it with low-e internal Glass which reflects heat back into the room, a low iron outer glass pane to improve window clarity and Q-Lon seals to improve weather resistance. All of which means your wooden conservatory will be as wonderfully warm in the winter as it s bright and cool in the summer.
We have an attractive range of painted finishes as standard to complement your colour scheme, but we can match any shade you like. Our tolerance for gaps is also far less than with other suppliers, plus we use a timber trim around the edge of our wooden conservatories for a neater finish.
Why not read our conservatory buying guide
Many people think that timber is a poor choice of material because it has a shorter lifespan than uPVC or Aluminium. However, a well-cared for wooden conservatory can last just as long, if not longer than alternative materials. Our paint finishes protect your conservatory and help it remain looking beautiful for years to come. We also have a 30 year guarantee against rot and fungus.
All of our wooden conservatories are made from specifically selected, seasoned wood. Timber has natural properties which help it withstand the elements and in the factory we apply a colour harmonising finish containing a preservative. We then apply a micro-porous protective paint finish. However, timber is a natural material so requires regular attention to keep them looking good. You should carry out cleaning regularly, at least twice a year. The factory applied coating systems will give many years of life between repainting cycles and simple steps, such as wiping down the product to remove dirt and insects will help to extend the decorative finish.
We use carefully selected Siberian Larch from sustainable forests. The cold Siberian climate results in a small growth each year which is shown in the timber s tight grain pattern and giving it excellent durability and stability. All of the timber we use is also FSC certified.
Timber is considered by many to be the most visually pleasing materials. It s natural beauty suits both traditional and modern properties. For many homes, particularly in conservation areas, a wooden conservatory is the perfect choice. They also add an authentic, traditional look and are a great choice for period properties.
Yes, timber actually offers better insulation than both upvc and aluminium, which keeps your home warmer but also means you have to use less energy. The production of wood also uses less energy than non-natural alternatives such as upvc and aluminium. All of our timber is also sustainably sourced.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Everest Ltd is consulted before specifying.
