Specification

Door panel constructed from 38mm wide rolled hollow steel sections with 2mm thick steel door skins seam welded along all edges.
Mineral wool insulation to all internal voids.
Steel hollow section door frame with anti-barricade device.
Frame fixed by chemical resin anchors with welded heads.
Door panel mounted within door frame and hung on a full height tubular steel pivot hinge.
Inundation unit.
Vertical laminated glass vision panel with hinged steel cover.
Preparation for MoJ Class 1 lock supplied and fitted by HMPS or Private Prison Operator.
Anti-ligature strips to front face of door, along top and down leading edge terminating at lock.
Finish

One coat factory applied high build zinc phosphate primer to all mild steel surfaces.
