TOPFORCE is a fibre reinforced, high performance concrete, that eliminates the need for some traditional reinforcement. Topforce SF uses steel and Topforce MF uses macro synthetic polypropylene fibres as a structural reinforcement.
Quicker and easier to place than traditional mesh reinforced concrete, it also improves durability and performance of the finished construction. TOPFORCE can be used for any flooring or hardstanding application that requires the strength and durability of reinforced concrete.
Topforce also helps to reduce carbon emissions. The carbon footprint of concrete reinforced with macro synthetic polypropylene fibres is around 60% lower than that of steel mesh reinforced concrete. As there is no need for the steel mesh reinforcement to be delivered, this helps to reduce carbon emissions by limiting truck movements.
TOPFORCE removes the need for crack control fabric reinforcement because it contains specially designed fibres, which are added during the production process using the latest batch control technology.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Tarmac is consulted before specifying.
