The new highly insulated sliding door can be slid aside without lifting it. Other than with lift and slide doors the leaf is not liftet with leverage force respectively lowered to position the gasket: a small handle suffices to ascend the particularly developed extender gasket.
The system is available with one to three tracks; in this way, more than 10 meters can be opened ore closed. It is possible to move all elements or to park some of them behind a fixed element or a wall. With the three-track version, the mid track is broken under the panel joint, to ensure heating insulation in this configuration. The elements run on high class Stainless Steel rollers at the bottom, which glide smoothly and easyli from one side to the other on a stainless steel track - panels with a maximum weight of 350kg can easyli be moved in this way. The flexible Glass holding fixture enables the application of glass thicknesses up to 62mm - which includes triple glazing, what the highly insulated framing profile is particularly suited for. With its combination of heating insulation and a flat treshold, the Thermoslide 80 is the perfect system for residential glazing as well as Conservatories or gastronomy.
