The cleverly designed 'QUICK-CLICK' galvanised steel frame makes assembly simple and fast. Assembly time will vary according to how familiar the installer is with the product but a good estimate is 15 minutes. Assemble videos and installation instructions are available from the ECLISSE website here.

The assembled ECLISSE Classic Single Pocket Door System assembles into a frame comprising a full pocket, metal door post and a track. The complete unit is then fitted into studwork which can take around 15 mins. It is important to ensure that the frame is fitted at finished floor level.

No. Other pocket door systems are installed in sections which increases installation time and the chance of error. With an ECLISSE pocket door system there is no cutting of metal required, you simply specify the kit to fit your door panel size.  Kits are available to suit 10 UK standard door panel sizes and 3 Irish standard door panel sizes. The kit is then assembled and installed into the stud work as a complete unit, which saves time and helps to ensure the door will run true and inline.

Yes. Installation is even easier with an unrivaled range of pocket thicknesses (70mm, 75mm, 90mm and 100mm) to fit popular stud sizes (CLS, Scant, C-shape metal stud etc). These will result in finished wall thicknesses of 95mm, 100mm, 115mm and 125mm when single-boarded. Double-boarding options are also available.

The jamb kit is a timber lining kit that is attached to the pocket door framework that covers the edges of the door when it is closed so you cannot see the top of the door or into the pocket. It gives the pocket door installation a professional finish. The ECLISSE Classic Single Pocket Door System comes complete with a specially designed FSC-certified jamb kit with a beech veneer finish that is unfinished and paint/stain ready. The jamb kit includes dustbrushes and a recessed door post with integral bumpers for a professional finish.

Yes. The ECLISSE Classic Single Pocket Door System comes with an easily adjustable rear door stop. Using a screwdriver you can unscrew the door stop and move it to the required position in the track.

The front runner lightly clicks into the front door stop which ensures that the door stays closed. The doorpost is recessed so you will not see any light coming through where the door meets the doorpost.

The system comes with a metal anti-warp door profile that slots into a routed channel in the underside of the door. The anti-warp profile runs on the spigot of the door guide at the pocket entrance. It is not visible but ensures that your door slides smoothly even if the door warps, as they sometimes do.

Yes. The only additional fixings you will need are those required to fix the frame to the floor and into the stud work. Even the screws to attach the plasterboard to the frame are included.

No. To remove the door you simply need to remove the top architrave and jamb and you have access to the runners which will allow you to remove the door. If you wish to extract the track this is also very easy to do by removing three screws that are accessible from the passageway. The track is on a bayonet system which will then slot out.

Yes. We have a version of this product with a reinforced frame and a track that will take a door up to 150Kg.

Yes. Bespoke sizes with a passage height of up to 2.9m and a passage width of up to 2.6m are available.

Independent Testing- Dynamic Impact Test (UNI EN 1629)

A pocket door system sample of size 1000mm x2100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard either side was subjected to an independent dynamic impact test. This is designed to simulate a violent impact to the pocket. During the test a soft sack weighing 30 Kg is swung orthogonally onto the pocket from various heights. The force required to open the door before and after the test is measured. After the test the door continue to operate as before with no adverse effects or increase in force required to open the door.

Independent Testing - Runners (UNI EN 1527)

The Eclisse runners were subjected to a test of 100,000 opening and closing cycles and continued to run smoothly. 100,000 cycles is approximately 25 years of normal use. In addition, the runners obtained the highest level of corrosion resistance (grade 4) after 240 hours in salt fog.
