The Riverstone Ultra range consists of a limited number of premium quality slates. Grading ensures that only the finest pieces are taken from each quarry’s first selection.

Riverstone Ultra Slate has a distinctive grey colour and is available with a dressed edge finish.

The colouring is completely natural and will not fade even when exposed to the harshest environments.

Riverstone Ultra Grey slate is quarried from the SSQ-owned San Luis quarry in the La Florida region of central Argentina, and is exclusively sold in the UK by SSQ, as well as being in great demand throughout Europe and the US.

It is one of the highest quality roofing slates available in the UK, and is suitable for a wide variety of applications, equally ideal for the refurbishment of old buildings or new build projects.

The distinctive grey colour makes Riverstone Ultra Grey an ideal replacement for the indigenous slate of the South West, Cumbria and Wales.

Both English Heritage and Historic Scotland have previously accepted Riverstone Grey Ultra for use on listed buildings.
