A heavy duty vertical sliding system operating with specialist balances that allow large and weighty panels to operate with ease. The system is used to treat the sizable sash windows often found in Victorian and Edwardian buildings. A thicker range of glass offers higher levels of noise insulation and a robust lock option achieves enhanced security and Secured by Design accreditation.
Warmer
A Series 90 window will reduce heat loss by up to 50% using standard glass and up to 65% with a thermally efficient glass (low-e). High performance brush seals will almost eliminate drafts and ensure much greater comfort near the window.
The effectiveness of the insulation is measured by U-values, the lower the figure the better the insulation.
Quieter
A Series 90 sliding window set 100mm apart from the existing window will reduce noise levels by more than 44dB (decibels). This can achieve World Health Organisation guidelines for quiet living and working environments even in quite challenging noise environments.
