POLYFOAM XPS LAUNCHES FRESH NEW WEBSITE

07-07-2023

Polyfoam XPS has relaunched its website with a brand-new look and improved customer experience, allowing certain insulation products to be purchased directly for the first time.

The Hartlepool-based manufacturer of extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation commissioned the redesign primarily to incorporate e-commerce. At the same time, architects, specifiers and contractors can now access the full range of Polyfoam technical resources supporting the use of products like the Polyfoam Floor and Polyfoam Roof ranges.

“Our new website is a completely fresh look, and much more reflective of the overall Polyfoam brand,” said Phil Hodges, National Sales Manager at Polyfoam XPS. “It’s also a response to demand from customers who want to buy small quantities of insulation from us directly. Our new Handyboard product is ideal for that, and is shipped via standard courier services.”

Alongside better support for smaller projects, the website overhaul means the company can continue to support specifiers and contractors who are increasingly choosing Polyfoam’s insulation solutions for large commercial and industrial projects.

“In the first half of 2023, we’ve seen Polyfoam products specified on the same number of projects as in the whole of 2022,” explained Rob Firman, Technical and Specification Manager at Polyfoam XPS. “People recognise that XPS is a flat, strong and dimensionally stable insulation material that can play a long-term role in the built environment.”

Through the new website, Polyfoam XPS can continue its ongoing progress in being open and transparent about product performance and environmental impact, all backed-up by high quality technical information aimed at supporting the delivery of sustainable buildings.

“Specifiers and contractors can easily download our BBA certificates, technical white papers, EPDs and BIM objects,” said Rob. “Not only that, but we now have case studies highlighting our products’ use in specific applications, and people can also easily subscribe to our monthly email newsletter, The Build-Up.”

“This is a really exciting time for Polyfoam,” added Phil, “and our new website is just the start of what we’ve got on the way in the coming months and years.”
