MPC065 Coving comes in 2.5 metre lengths. Coving is priced per metre. Swan Neck Plaster Coving is so-called after the deep cove in the middle of the cornice and its origins lie firmly in the Victorian era. During that time, the patenting of Fibrous Plaster combined with new gelatine moulding techniques enabled manufacturers to extend cornice much further across the ceiling than in the Georgian and Regency periods. Swan Neck Coving was a commonly used pattern in homes throughout the Victorian period and so naturally this is a must have design for our Victorian Collection. This is the smaller version of two Swan Neck Cornice designs that we regularly stock.
If you measure your plaster coving needs and order an exact amount then one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer lengths are used wherever possible as this will create a better finish.
