Concrete Delta Bloc Barrier

The Delta Bloc ® Concrete Safety Barrier System is ideal for temporary or permanent protection of construction site work areas. Designed and tested to BS EN 1317-1&2: 1998 this traffic barrier system provides protection to containment level N2. Most impacts occur at relatively low speeds,shallow angles and vehicles are redirected back onto their proper path.

Vehicles impacting at higher speeds and wider angles are controlled and prevented from breaking through the barrier by the continuous tension bar within the traffic block barrier structure and optimum safety is maintained. This improved Delta Bloc system allows the units to be simply positioned and joined using the patented coupling links.

There is no requirement to fix any component to the road surface. The system is bi-directional so therefore there is no necessity for the units to be revolved or reversed when used as a central reservation barrier. They can also be safely used in any contra-flow situation.
