Decoran is a sheet material formed entirely from trade waste Glass or even bottles but without resort to resins, it is generally 20mm thick, with light translucency or opacity, in polished or textured finish. It has some glass applications but generally used as one would Stone. Decoran® is a surface which not only offers the play of light of a semi-transparent material, heavy durability and low maintenance, but also offers very rare green credentials as compared to other more composite surfaces. Glassceramic is known from induction hob glass and many varied types came out of the advances in the technological Space Race, but the generic name covers a myriad of types as one sees when also categorizing such as plastics or polymers, this is why a branding is important for it is then associated with specific tests and achievements.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Low Impact is consulted before specifying.
