The John Guest Group, still family owned and run was established in the early 1960_Ñés specialising in precision engineering and tool making. The company has grown to become the world_Ñés largest manufacturer of push in fittings, pipe and other fluid control products for a wide range of applications. The company employs some 1,100 people at its 300,000 sq ft purpose built manufacturing centres in west London and in Maidenhead. Every aspect of the company_Ñés operation is characterised by the pursuit of total quality. Zero defect control is built into the design, manufacturing and assembly processes to achieve optimum standards of long term product reliability. The company recently received its 4th Queen_Ñés Awards for Enterprise, in the Innovation Category, given in recognition of the design and manufacture of an improved range of Speedfit Pipe and Fittings and _ÑÉSuperseal_Ñé Pipe Insert; automating its production activities to increase efficiency and having regard for environmental concerns.
