Asteroid Glass Overview
Asteroid glass is a faceted blown-glass pendant and table light designed by Koray Ozgen for innermost and available in clear and 'petrol' finishes.
Asteroid is a unique form in which none of the twenty-four individual faces are the same and no two edge lengths equal. In clusters, these faceted blown-glass pendants give the illusion of many different unique forms, when there is only one. Asteroid comes in both glass & Plastic options, with the plastic version made suitable for temporary outdoor use.
The Petrol version was launched to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the product in 2015 and has a dichroic paint finish that flips colour from surface to surface as you alter your viewing angle.
The design was originally created by Koray Ozgen as a vase that could stand on different surfaces and later adapted very skillfully into a lighting concept by the Ozgen studio and is also available in plastic as a pendant or outdoor table/floor light.
They look stunning as unique features of the W Retreat Hotel, Maldives.
