Heald s Automatic Security Arm Barrier is available in a wide range of sizes and finishes to suit any site. The Arm Barrier is the ideal product to aid with traffic management and are suitable for use in areas such as car parks, airports and traffic control areas.
Heald s standard and heavy duty Automated Barriers offer a simple, efficient solution for automated traffic control for areas where traffic management is required. The barriers can be used in conjunction with a variety of entry systems such as time clock, proximity cards and Keypads.
With fast operation providing 100% rated duty cycle, the Automated Arm Barrier is an excellent way of maintaining traffic control. The barrier is lockable in the open and closed positions, and an optional skirt is available for added security.
The boom is manufactured from Aluminium tube and finished in white, with red reflective stickers as standard. The barriers move by a geared motor drive unit via a control panel including overload protection, a smart relay and an inverter. It features adjustable limit Switches for accurate positioning of the boom.
The barrier moves through 90 degrees to give a vertical open position, and can be left or right opening. It can be operated via a manual hand-wind in the event of a power failure.
A heavy duty version is available in beam lengths of up to 8 metres and standard duty versions are available up to 6 metres. We can also provide you with the option of a break off arm.
