It is essential that your Gothic Pedestal, together with your choice of urn or planter, is sited on a firm and level area. An 8 to 1 sand/cement bedding mortar should be used to ensure that the weight of the pedestal and vase is spread evenly across the base, to avoid any pivoting or twisting strain. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept responsibility for breakage if this instruction is not followed.
