EVEQUE - External Sculptures

by David Harber

A tall, modern sculpture made of a trio of bronze and Stainless Steel elements that interact to form a Single arch, appearing to split and reassemble as you view it in the round.

A tribute to the buttresses of medieval cathedrals, the Eveque is named after the French word for ' bishop' as it is reminiscent of a bishop' s mitre.

The body of this contemporary bronze garden sculpture is made of verdigris bronze panels with fretwork window voids, while the edges are mirror polished stainless steel, contrasting with the bronze and reflecting the landscape.

At night, Eveque is Illuminated through its fretwork windows.

Height 198cm, width 83cm, depth 68cm
