Tested to meet the requirements of European fire resistance standards, Gilgen EI30 resists flames and provides a thermal barrier for up to 30 minutes in full compliance with Part B of Building Regulations. By dividing rooms into fire compartments the system delays the spread of fire and smoke giving pedestrians more time to escape and reducing damage to property. The system is independently fire rated as per EN1363-1 and EN1634-1 and tested to fulfil the needs of EN16005 safety standards. In the event of power failure there is battery back-up. Unlike some other systems the GILGEN EI30 can be re-used after deployment without additional costs.
