SensorFence is Geoquip’s first integrated fence intrusion detection system that combines electronic detection with a physical fence barrier. This unique design maximizes the benefits of fence construction and electronic sensor detection. The mechanical properties of the fence have been carefully designed so that any intruder activity will be detected and will generate a frequency bandwidth that falls exactly within the frequency bandwidth of the cable sensor system. In short, any cutting or climbing of the fence will produce a maximum response level from the sensor. What’s more, even the most stealthy attacks on the fence are detected at the minimum sensor sensitivity levels, drastically reducing the number of false alarms.
This product breakthrough is also largely due to the unique method of attaching fence panels to the sensor cable carrier. This has very much simplified installing the sensor cable to the fence. The cable is conveniently laid within the carrier, without the need for additional fixings such as cable ties or clamps.
In addition, cable trays can also be attached along the base on the secure side of the fence. This simplifies the installation of data and power Cables, which in turn enables a wide range of detection systems to be configured. The trays do not require the trenching and ducting that is normally required to accommodate such cables.
