ORANGERIES

Originally designed at the turn of the 18th century to grow citrus fruits during winter months, Orangeries soon became popular for entertaining and additional living space.
Orangeries offer a more formal approach to the Conservatory, with bolder features and a large box gutter running around the perimeter. Frames are more solid in appearance due to the structural supports between frames.
With technical advances in frames and glazing, a Franklin Orangery can be used throughout the year no matter what the weather outside.
The project exceeded our expectations, it has not only enhanced our home but the whole village! We would not hesitate to recommend Franklin to anyone who wants a good quality job done.
