Silicon Bronze Threaded Bar

Silicon Bronze is a very popular material and can be used to create a number of fasteners including Threaded Bar. As an alloy of mostly Copper and Tin, it also contains a small amount of Silicon which aids in its use within applications in the marine industry.
Its superior resistance to corrosion, as well as its robustness and stability make it a favoured choice over a number of other alloys for marine environments and naval construction.
The corrosion resistance in brine, sulphites and gases do not cause the threaded rods to corrode or deteriorate. Often, Silicon Bronze Threaded Rods are chosen over the likes of Stainless Steel or other materials.
As well as the above, Silicon Bronze fasteners host great thermal conductivity, non-magnetic properties and distinguished erosion reduction.
Available in thread sizes of M6 to M20 and lengths up to three feet however we can have larger sizes and lengths made to order.
