The default display shows an instant display of the consumers energy usage. It displays details for time and temperature, cost per hour at the current consumption rate, current electricity usage in kW and a bar graph denoting the last hours power usage in kW.
Selecting the CO2 button on the ecoMeter, the user can view the CO2 emissions caused by the consumers electrical and gas consumption. The display shows the following; current CO2 emissions caused by electrical energy consumption, the CO2 emissions today for gas and electricity, and the total CO2 emissions for combined fuel types over the last 7, 28 days and 12 months.
Gas energy usage
Using the gas button on the ecoMeter, the user can view the current and historical data related to the consumers gas usage. The ecoMeter displays details for the following; today’s usage, last 7 days usage, last 28 days usage and the last 12 months of gas energy usage. Associated with each screen is a graphical representation of usage information.
Electricity energy usage
Using the electricity button, the user can view the current and historical data related to the consumers electricity usage. The meter displays details for the total kWh of current usage, last 7 days energy use, last 28 days energy use and the last 12 months energy use. A bar graph is also displayed with each selected display.
The ecoMeter is able to display energy costs over varying periods alongside utility meter readings. Using the cost button, the cost information displayed includes; the current electricity and gas costs, the rate and actual meter readings, and the viewing of historical gas electricity costs for the previous day, the last 7 days and the last 28 days.
