Established in 1999, Douglas James (Shower Pods) is a division of the Walker Group, with 30 years of experience behind it.
The Company has grown from strength to strength since it first started producing their unique leak free shower cubicles. Manufacturing from its large factory premises on Westmoreland Street, Hull, with an emphasis on superior product design. Douglas James can proudly claim they are the only known manufacturer producing leak free shower cabins using multi-layered cast stone polymer technology system in Europe. Being a key supplier to many national blue chip house builders, Douglas James has obtained significant market share from traditional shower methods.

Shower door replacements
Good morning we are trying to obtain shower door replacements for our student accommodation in Newcastle. The current doors were supplied by yourselves when constructed. We have walker modular pods. Could I have a price for a 1190mm x 1850 sliding shower door. Kind regards

Test of time.
Unfortunately the shower cubicle has yellowed over time (no windows in the bathroom so not caused by uv) which dates an otherwise modern bathroom. Also we have so far been unable to remove a nasty rust stain running down from the shower head rail. It is good to see that the newer units make better use of the floor space than the older units. The shower still functions well, it is purely the appearance which lets it down, which is a shame considering the price.
