Our Timber residential doors are available in an abundance of styles. Manufacturing in laminated timber as standard to improve stability and durability, the doors provide traditional aesthetics with modern security.

Specification

Designed specifically as an external door, our sashes are 58mm thick as opposed to the standard 44mm. This additional thickness allows for improved locking systems, drainage and stability. Available with 24mm double glazed units or solid timber panels with matching sidelights, we have a solution that meets your requirements.

Locking System:

Utilising a three point dead-bolt lock complete with an anti-bump, anti-drill cylinder and cylinder guard, our locking system is proven to withstand the three main attack methods; bumping, drilling and snapping.
Hinge:

Fully rebated and with adjustments in three dimensions, our hinges combine traditional aesthetics with modern technology. All products manufactured by Dempsey Dyer are designed with the installer in mind.
Energy Efficiency:

We currently do not possess thermal calculations for our timber residential doors as a whole. We can however provide thermal performance data on specific products such as Glass and are always willing to discuss specific project requirements.
PAS 23/24 Security:

Our range of residential doors come with PAS 23/24 security as standard. This security standard has been made available to demonstrate the high security performance of the product, providing you with piece of mind in your investment with Dempsey Dyer.
Secured By Design:

To achieve Secured by Design, our timber residential doors are manufactured to the PAS 23/24 standard. Normally, the Secured by Design standard requires laminated glass that we confirm through communication with the client and the architectural liaison officer, also known as the crime prevention design advisor.
