DeepClean LST Radiator Guard

Contours' flagship radiator guard, the DeepClean, has been developed in consultation with industry experts for application in environments which require regular and comprehensive internal cleaning, these include healthcare, education and care homes. The DeepClean Radiator Guard incorporates specific design features to yield a casing that provides unrivalled access for internal cleaning and maintenance.

Traditional guard's are fixed and difficult to access, with internal cleaning requiring complete disassembly and the assistance of estates personnel. An undisturbed casing and the convection process combine to create the perfect conditions for the growth and distribution of bacteria. Meeting cleaning audits is therefore particularly critical in environments such as hospitals, care homes, schools and clinics.

The unique patented, quick release DeepClean front door allows it to lie flat on the floor for fast, total access. The door can then be stood upon if required without resulting in any structural damage. This makes it possible for one cleaning operative to clean the guard on their own and without the assistance of estates personnel, dramatically improving dailly efficiencies, reducing operating costs and raising hygiene standards. The open hinge arrangement facilitates complete front door removal if required.

Available floor mounted or wall mounted, and in both a flat top and gradient top, the one-piece construction removes the need for site assembly, reducing installation time, costs, disruption and debris. The slimline yet robust design minimises loss of floor space while still delivering a strong product. Floor fixings further enhance the structural integrity of the guard.

BioCote silver-based anti-microbial powder coating inside and out inhibits the growth and distribution of bacteria, providing a safe, effective and long lasting solution to to harmful bacteria nd infection, such as MRSA, E.coli and H1N1.

1.5mm Zintec mild Steel gives additional corrosion resistance, 2mm thick casings are availble for high Security environments.

Radius edges and corners provide a safer surface should someone fall against the guard, while narrow Grilles with radius punch-outs are safe and easier to clean. Optional cut-outs for pipe work or Vinyl Flooring can be programmed into manufacture, removing the need for this noisey and time consuming process. A selection of locks are available, suitable for application in a variety of environments and further extending the flexibility of the guard.
