Manufactured from abrasion-resistant polycarbonate, Hammerglass is tested to Security Class P8B (equivalent to the highest safety rating for Grilles and roller shutters).

Hammerglass features a unique coating of silicon oxide, making it almost as resistant to scratches as ordinary glass. In addition, graffiti and other marks can easily be removed. The coating also provides UV Protection of 99.96% preventing the polycarbonate from becoming cloudy or bleached over time.

Doubled glazed units allow Hammerglass is be coupled with various glass options i.e. toughened, laminated etc.

Available in 6mm Hammerglass Single P7B (10 year warranty) as a single glazed unit and 8-12mm Hammerglass P8B Single (5 year warranty) as a double glazed unit, which is the equivalent to Protection Level 3, the highest safety standard for anti burglary grilles and shutters.

Hammerglass is also certified to British Police Standards known as Secured by Design.
