Fingershield Door Safety Finger Guard

The Fingershield door safety Finger Guards were developed to prevent finger-trapping accidents occurring in doors, by completely covering the area between the door and hinge when the door is open. The fingerguard screw fit to the door and are easy to install, remove and refit as required, making it a practical solution to an establishment’s health and safety requirements.

The Fingershield device has been designed to be functional yet discreet and is available in eight colours, designed to match (or contrast) with the colour of the door. Fingershield is available in white, brown, black, beige, beech, grey, blue, and clear.

The Fingershield is available in a standard length of 1960 mm with non –standard sizes available on request).

The finger guards are comprised of three uPVC rigid sections. These are calcium-zinc stabilised medium impact materials and do not contain cadmium or lead.

The guards also act as an effective secondary smoke inhibitor and draft excluder and have a UL 4h fire rating.

Devices are also available for use on rising butt hinge doors.

Every Fingershield device is supplied with a standard two year warranty with the option to upgrade to the 5 Year Fingershield Fitted Assurance Warranty if you take advantage of our installation service. Once installed, the risk of finger-trapping is eliminated.
