is widely accepted as the most desirable way to heat your home or workplace, and can be combined with a ground source heat pump, or air-to-water air source heat pump for maximum energy efficiency.
How does it work?
Underfloor heating works by pumping heated water through a series of pipes laid underneath the floor of your property, radiating heat upwards.
Underfloor heating is an energy efficient way to heat your home, and an alternative to standard radiators. If you’re installing a ground source heat pump, or air-to-water air source heat pump, and are able to install underfloor heating at the same time, we’d recommend it, particularly on a new build. It’s more difficult, although not impossible, to install this system in an existing building.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Black Isle Renewables is consulted before specifying.
