Rainscreen Cladding

consists of an outer skin of rear ventilated cladding that can be made of almost any material such as metal panels, brick, ceramic tiles, laminates, reconstituted Stone boards, wood, etc. The inner skin carries the wind loading. The wind pressure acting on the outside is balanced in the cavity and as a result there is insufficient pressure differential to allow the rain inside.
Berry Systems have considerable experience in advising architects and specifiers on the ventilation and loading requirements for the facades of Multi-Storey car parks. If involved at the earliest design stages, they can advise on the required performance levels, particularly with respect to the requirements of BS 6180.
