- Plasterboard Door Access Panels – Beaded Frame (Non-Fire Rated)
This range of plasterboard access panels is designed to blend seamlessly into walls and ceilings. The steel frame and door edge are profiled to take a plaster finish, ensuring a discreet appearance once installed. Spacer pips on the frame maintain a uniform gap between the door and frame. The door leaf can be removed during installation, making fitting and plastering easier.
Construction & Finish
- Frame: Beaded zintec steel, powder-coated for durability
- Door: Plasterboard insert, ready for finishing
Locking Options
- Standard: Budget lock, operated with an 8mm square plastic T-key
- Operation: Quarter-turn twist action
- Supplied with a white push-fit bung to conceal the lock
Installation Guidance
- Supplied with pre-drilled 5mm fixing holes (number varies by panel size – see table)
- Install the frame before plastering
- Scrim tape must be applied to all perforated edges prior to plastering to avoid cracking
