TERROR STOPPER PAS 68 FULL DEPTH BLOCKER

The Terror Stopper PAS 68 Full Depth Road Blocker, successfully crash tested to PAS 68 specifications. Designed specifically to withstand a hostile vehicle borne improvised explosive device and stop the vehicle dead in its tracks. The PAS 68 full depth road blocker, successfully tested with a 7.5 tonne vehicle at 50 mph.

Ideal for applications where there is plenty of depth to excavate and the sub-surface, free from the path of any buried utilities.

This PAS 68 Road Blocker is manufactured and designed to BS 6571: Part 4 1989 with tread plates of 10mm thick (over plain) durbar tread plate. Featuring a 0ne piece 3mm thick sheet skirt. The trimmer frames are 70mm x 70mm or 80mm x 80mm angle sections. Fully spragged around the periphery for maximum holding.

Riser frames and base frames manufactured from heavy gauge RHS sections and fully welded. Designed to withstand axle weights of 15 tonnes.

The Road Blockers are powered by a hydraulic power pack, configured to suit particular requirements. With a typical operating speed of 5 seconds, faster operations may also be achieved with larger hydraulic packs or accumulators.

To manually release the blocker, hand Pumps also supplied as standard within the power pack.

Enclosures, controls and hydraulic power packs can also be designed to operate multiple blocker systems. Accumulators, incorporated to provide fast emergency operation and/or limited operation during a power failure.

A Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) can also be incorporated into the system as a better means of covering electrical power failures. Available for normal operating speeds only but will produce far more operations than is practical with an accumulator.
